Every season brings a wave of new waifus, leading to a surge in popularity for various anime girls who are crowned “best girl” by fans.

Mangakas seem to almost always aim to create a perfect girl so that boys (and girls) can easily simp them.

That being said, there are a few girls that stand out from the rest. To rank the best anime girls, I used the MAL database, which is a website that can determine their ranking based on users’ votes. Honestly, I was a little disappointed that none of these girls had white hair because that’s my favorite hair color, but oh well… also, no mecha girl on this list!
