When the attack occurred, his father, the leader of his town, sacrificed his life to make his son the beast’s host and protect the village. Because of his sacrifice, a new leader had to take over, and the Third Hokage returned from retirement to fill that spot.

Naruto is often looked down upon because of the beast sealed inside him, but because of a law passed by the Third Hokage, the people of the village were forbidden to talk about these events until one day, the truth is revealed to Naruto when he is 12.

After, Naruto becomes a ninja and is joined by Sasuke Uchiha, a fellow ninja and competitor, and Sakura Haruno, a girl he has a crush on, to form a ninja team called Team 7. This team is under the teachings of a great ninja named Kakashi Hatake. The team undergoes many trials, quests, and conflicts together in their many thrilling adventures.
