What is a Trap?
You might have heard the term “trap” if you are active in the anime community. The term “trap” is derived from the English word “trap”, and it makes total sense. Trap characters are individuals who dress as the opposite gender (for example, a girl who dresses ups and acts like a boy and vice versa), and who carry on authentically and genuinely like members of the opposite gender.
Anime trap characters give the creator a more extensive creation. Through creation, we aim for humor and furthermore unexpected development. Truth be told, the anime trap has its own appeal and highlights which is extraordinary and positively makes specific anime more brilliant.
Traps have become popular even among individuals who view themselves as heterosexual. Otakus generally consider “the trap person” to be one of the most mind-blowing characters when presented in an anime.
What is a Reverse Trap in anime?
A reverse trap is just what the name implies: a young lady who seems to be and (usually, but not always) dressed as a boy.
In contrast to traps, reverse traps are often voiced by female voice actresses, albeit they typically use lower pitches or are naturally low-pitched ladies.

15. Haku (Naruto)
Naruto fans were shocked to see that Haku is also a trap.

14. Kurapika (Hunter x Hunter)
Many people argue whether Kurapika should even be on the list of anime traps. Nevertheless, a lot of people consider him one.
Kurapika is the last survivor of the Kurta Clan. He is a Blacklist Hunter and the current head of the association established by Light Nostrade.
He is a Zodiac member with the codename “Rat.” His mission is to avenge his clan and retrieve the remaining Scarlet Eyes.
Kurapika is the MC of the Yorknew City and Succession Contest Arcs. He was also the deuteragonist of the Hunter Exam Arc.

13. Nagisa Shiota (Assassination Classroom)
Nagisa Shiota is a student in Korosensei’s Class 3-E of Kunugigaoka Junior High School and the MC and storyteller of the anime series called AssDespiteClassroom.
In spite of his generally passive demeanor, Nagisa possesses a natural aptitude for assassination.

12. Neferpitou (Hunter x Hunter)
Neferpitou, nicknamed Pitou, was a feline humanoid Chimera Ant and the firstborn of the Chimera Ant King’s three Royal Guards.
Pitou was exceptionally faithful to the King and would sacrifice themself for him. Pitou was the most curious of the three Royal Guards, and they liked to play and, according to Shaiapouf, would overdo it while having a good time.

11. Hideri Kanzaki (Blend S)
The fifth addition to Cafe Stile is Hideri Kanzaki, who was hired for his attractive appearance. The staff is taken aback, and it’s not just because Hideri plays a symbol vocalist but never sings.
Hideri has greenish-blue eyes and long silver hair with lopsided bangs.
His outfit is a little dark headband with a strip (which could likewise be trim rabbit ears) on top of the headband that is connected.
His uniform is equivalent to the others, besides added strips and his shade of decision; blue-green.

10. Saika Totsuka (OreGairu)
Saika Totsuka is a Class 2F student at Sobu High School and the leader of the school’s Tennis Club.
He has a delicate, ladylike appearance, and every so often is mixed up as a female. Sometimes Hachiman “forgets” that he is a boy.
Saika has short, light dim/silver hair, huge, shining blue eyes, and a fair complexion tone.
Well, what can I say? We stan cute short-haired anime traps!

9. Felix Argyle (Re:Zero)
Felix Argyle, normally known as Ferris, is Crusch Karsten’s knight.
He made an appearance in Arc 3, where he played Crusch’s knight and supported Subaru in his conflict with the Hakugei and Sin Archbishop of Sloth. Although absent in the accompanying fourth Arc, he reappeared in Arc 5 and once more played a crucial role in Crusch’s personality development.

8. Hime Arikawa (Himegoto)
Would you ever guess that this pink-haired cutie is a trap?
Shimoshina High School sophomore Hime Arikawa is saved from the debt collectors by the Student Council, but he is then forced to pass himself off as a woman in order to settle his debts.
To put it plainly, Hime, who is easily embarrassed, struggles to balance his life and keep up with the Student Council, as he is effortlessly humiliated. Because of his drag attire, he is frequently picked on and mistreated by them and his classmates. Compared to the rest of the Student Council, he is incredibly helpless when mistreated.

5. Astolfo Rider (Fate/Grand Order)
In the Great Holy Grail War of Fate/Apocrypha, Astolfo Rider, Class Name Rider of “Dark,” is the Rider-class Servant of Celenike Icecolle Yggdmillennia of the Black Faction. He enters into a contract with Sieg following the passing of Celenike.
He is one of Ritsuka Fujimaru’s servants in the Fate/Grand Order conflicts. In Fate/EXTELLA LINK, he is a member of Hakuno Kishinami’s army.

3. Seishiro Tsugumi (Nisekoi)
Seishirō Tsugumi is a contract killer who was raised and trained by Claude Ringheart of the Bee Hive Gang. What makes Seishiro unique is that she is a female. I mean… how many female anime traps do you know? 😉
Initially introduced as a male student, Tsugumi is assigned to Chitoge Kirisaki’s class and is under orders to keep her safe from Raku Ichij, whom he believes coerced Chitoge into dating him.

2. Aoi Hyoudou (Maid-Sama!)
Huge blue eyes with long eyelashes and dark purple hair styled in a bowl cut are some of Aoi’s most androgynous traits. If you asked me to list some perfect anime traps, I would definitely include him on the list.
As the net icon Aoi-chan he wears a blonde, wavy hairpiece and wears Satsuki’s old dresses, and is quite often, confused with a young lady by all kinds of people.
After some time, his voice begins to change, making it all the more masculine and less adorable, unfortunately.

1. Ryou Akizuki (Idol Master)
Ryo Akizuki is one of the Idols available for creation at 315 Productions. Before joining the idol unit F-LAGS with Kazuki Tsukumo and Daigo Kabuto, he was a former cross-dressing idol of 876 Productions.
Ryo is a former drag dress-up icon. He formerly represented 876 Production as a female icon and now wants to start over as a cool male icon.
In that capacity, he presently has a place with two organizations. Ryo has a delicate disposition, yet a big heart, and is prepared to remain by his fantasy, regardless of what happens.
