I did thorough research to find the most popular and fan-favored characters with names that start with D, and my conclusion is that the characters whose names start with the letter D seem to be only males! Another discovery that I made is that most of them are villains, I wonder why? I mean, it might be just a coincidence but if you read the list below, most of them are straight antagonists!

His Quirk allows him to generate electricity and cover his body in it (Killua, anyone?). While he can also emit this energy over a distance, Denki has little to no control over it, so he is quite reluctant to use it around his allies since it would shock everyone around him.

Doflamingo is the captain of the Donquixote Pirates and one of the most popular antagonists in One Piece. Many fans refer to him as one of the best villains introduced in the series mainly because of his drip and amazing, fleshed-out backstory.
In a sense, he is similar to Joker from The Dark Knight. He’s not only cruel and OP but also smart and manipulative, so you can never let your guard down around him. Doflamingo loves watching the chaos and doesn’t care how things turn out besides watching despite and misery.

Deidara was an S-rank ninja who abandoned his village without the intention of ever returning. He was then forcibly recruited by Itachi into the infamous Akatsuki group.
A loud, funny, and goofy guy who is one of a few characters in Naruto who are pure evil for the sake of being evil. He just loves to blow shit up. Deishuu is a con-artist specializing in fake apparitions.
Fans make a lot of memes about him being the best waifu from the series. Even though he first started off as a one-dimensional antagonist but turned out to be a complex and caring individual.
He has a gloomy personality, eloquent talk, and is proud to be pride-less. His expertise is the art of lying and tricking others for the sake of acquiring money.

He is so power-hungry and determined to become the richest and most OP person in the world that he would go as far as killing others in cold blood.
