Diabolik Lovers is a Japanese visual novel franchise by Rejet.
The first game was released in 2021 for the PlayStation Portable system. Since then, there have been 7 more games added, with the first two remastered for the PlayStation Vita and released as Limited V Edition.
The latest, the seventh game, was released in 2019 and is playable on Nintendo Switch.
As you might have noticed, they are all in Japanese. If you love the franchise and want to support it, it’s a great idea to purchase Diabolik Lovers games too.
Diabolik Lovers Limited V Edition got a fan-translated English patch too if you’re interested. It requires a jailbroken Vita and a legit bought copy of the game. Google is your best friend! 🙂
An anime TV series adaptation aired in 2013 & 2015 under the same name.
There is also an OVA that was included in Diabolik Lovers: Dark Fate.
You can find Diabolik Lovers in prequels, sequels, anthologies, and cardinal anthologies for each character with different stories, anime, drama CDs, music CDs, and fan books. On top of that, there were three well-received stage plays over the years.
What’s Diabolik Lovers about?
The story focuses on a little, innocent looking blonde girl named Yui who is under weird circumstances forced to live in a house with 6 boys, who are… a little weird. Soon she will find out a secret – all of them all vampires with lust for her delicious blood.

Do you love Diabolik Lovers as much as I do? 😛
Hi, my name is Mia and I’m the founder of 9 Tailed Kitsune.
I love anime, games, and esports (I am also a bit weird).
My passion for anime sparked when I was about 7 (Phantom Thief Jeanne, hello!) and has never stopped.
