Yor Forger is the tritagonist of the new popular anime series, Spy x Family.
Right after the series started airing, it became an instant hit. Fans immediately took a liking to Yor because she is beautiful inside and out.

#10 She hates insects
This is a commonly disliked animal and adds realism to her character. She is a badass assassin but she is human.
Yor’s dislike for insects is so strong that she hates even looking at pictures with insects.
#9 Yor’s favorite food
While Yor is adorable, she is a really bad cook. She often only looks at nutrients, neglecting both the taste and appearance of the meal. This is why Loid does the majority of the cooking.
We do know that Yor loves apples, though.

One of the most interesting facts about Yor Forger is about her signature earrings. They are something that she shares with another girl called Ashe. Ashe comes from Tatsuya Endo’s previous one-shot Rengoku no Ashe.

Yor has a slim build and looks elegant for the most part, making people believe that she is fragile. But fans of Spy X Family know already that she is OP, possessing exceptional physical abilities. She has superhuman strength, agility, stamina, and durability, which are all useful qualities for someone whose main job is assassinating people.

It’s only thanks to sheer luck that Loid hasn’t discovered her ‘real identity.’

Yor gets drunk at a supersonic speed. She, as well as Yuri, are known for being hot-headed and combative when drunk. She even went all-in at Loid until she dropped on the floor and started immediately sleeping due to being dizzy as heck.

Yor and her younger brother Yuri both grew up in Eastern Nielsberg. Since they were both orphaned at a young age, Yor felt the obligation to financially provide for her brother. She was recruited into Garden and trained as an assassin, resulting in financial stability as she had regular assassination jobs.

Many people don’t even know that Yor is the shorter version of her real name. She was born Yolanda, a name of Greek and Spanish origin. The name’s meaning is “violet flower”.
Her maiden surname was Briar. Briar has an English origin and means “thorny bush of wild roses”. A fitting surname for someone who is nicknamed the Thorn Princess. 🙂
