Europe has 50 countries, but only 44 have their capital cities on the continent. Russia is the biggest country in Europe, followed by Ukraine and France. As of today, the population of Europe is around 741 million people.
I created a similar ranking for U.S. states that love anime, and now I’m curious to find out where anime is most popular in Europe.
To create this list, I used data from Google Trends over the past 12 months. Surprisingly, I expected anime to be big in countries like Spain, Italy, or Germany but they didn’t make it to the top 10!
