I thought I’d seen it all after binging on some seriously bad anime, but man was I wrong. I’m about to dive into the craziest, weirdest, and freakiest anime I’ve ever laid eyes on. So get ready for some wild stuff, because this Utsu Musume Sayuri review is not for the faint of heart.

Okay, so here’s the deal with this show. The main character is a young girl, or at least that’s what she looks like. Her name is Sayuri and she’s been raised by her parents to believe that it’s time to, well, “strike”. Through the series, Sayuri discovers the importance of family and continues their creepy family tradition.
Utsu Masume Sayuri Review
Surrealism? Love it. But, this particular anime called Utsu Musume Sayuri? Not so much. This CGI mess from Japan tries to pass itself off as a comedy, but for me, it was just a big ol’ serving of discomfort and creepiness. If the creator thinks this is funny, well, let’s just say they might need a little help from the professionals. I lasted through 3 whole minutes of watching it and let me tell you, that felt like an eternity. Usually, anime shows are at least 20 minutes, so I guess I got off easy!
Story
So, there’s supposed to be a story here? All I saw was this Sayuri character spanking some bizarre naked creature. And that’s why she’s called the “striking daughter”, I guess. shrugs I have no words to describe how bizarre this is.
Animation
The animation in Utsu Musume Sayuri is terrible. Just one word to sum it up. Horrible.
Characters
A group of mutated creatures who are supposed to be a family. And then there are some random characters who show up for no apparent reason other than to be spanked by Sayuri. I have no idea what kind of twisted thoughts the creator of this anime had when they made this, but they should have kept it to themselves and their therapist. It’s just all kinds of wrong. 🙁
Sound
The sound and voice acting are both pretty poor. It’s dubbed in English by one person and it was definitely creepy and unprofessional. Nothing to write home about.
TLDR
I feel bad for myself for even writing this review of Utsu Musume Sayuri. So take my advice and don’t waste your time on this “anime” unless you want to feel seriously disturbed. It’s only 3 minutes long, but trust me, it’s not worth it.
