7 Must See Anime Like Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba

Kimetsu no Yaiba is the absolute winner when it comes to newbies of 2019. The anime managed to get rated almost 9 on MAL with astounding 560,568 members who have watched it.

This is placing Kimetsu no Yaiba on the #19 place according to ratings, which is very high considering it is 2019 anime.

The story revolves around Tanjirou, a young boy whose soul got scarred by a tragedy – all members of his family except his younger sister, Nezuko, were slaughtered by a demon and she has turned into one.

Tanjirou swears to avenge his family and embarks on a journey to find a way how to turn Nezuko back to a human.

These 7 anime are the closest resemblance to Kimetsu no Yaiba.

Kaneki is taken to the hospital and undergoes surgery while being unconscious only to find out that he became a half-ghoul due to organ transplant from the ghoul who had previously attacked him.

Kaneki has to face a new, harsh reality and adapt – if he wants to survive he has to deal with both humans and ghouls and most importantly with his inner conflict.

3. Shingeki no Kyojin / Attack on Titan (2013)

Plot Summary

Eren Yaeger’s life turns upside down after the wall protecting his village from Titans (monstrous humanoid creatures) gets breached, bringing havoc on the whole village behind. He loses a close relative in a very gruesome way and witnesses first hand the atrocious power of Titans.

    I’ve been wanting to watch Dororo but people keep telling me that only the first half is good, so I’m quite reluctant to watch a show that falls off right where it should be peaking

      I think that it might be still worth watching, but it’s true that the anime had more potential.

    I’ll check out dororo when I can. Oh boy, owari…welp guess Eddie Cully isn’t around to sparkle here xDD. I watched it, even though it’s a shounen show, it almost borders on boy love. HxH enjoyed it back when. Loved the York New arc. Keep up the good work Mia!! 😀
